The Parkgate Academy – so called to celebrate our town’s proud mining, industrial heritage and in specific reference to the ‘Parkgate Coal Seam’. We want to build upon this relentlessly, industrious attitude and inspire children to have the self-esteem to fulfill their ambitions.

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to The Parkgate Academy a new school with a highly aspirational ethos. The school was formed on 1st September 2016 and our aim is to provide the highest quality education for all of our pupils.
Our motto is LABOR OMNIA VINCIT, meaning hardwork conquers all. We strive for our children to develop a strong work ethic, become reflective, resourceful, resilient, be good at building and forming relationships, as well as possessing the ability to take calculated risks in life.
